Here is a mental exercise that I just made up after hearing about some Matrix Reimprinting advances that someone mentioned to me. Short and simple. The point is to get used to thinking about what you are thinking about.
What pleasant memory do you have when you saw, heard, felt, tasted, something that made you feel, good, cozy, loving, aware of beauty, competent, confident …you get the picture. Think about that nice time you had. Imagine looking at yourself in the setting where you had that good feeling. What are you wearing? What is your facial expression? What do you see and hear in that setting of your pleasant experience.
OK, more imagining, are you ready? Imagine you (of your memory) visits you (of today) and offers to tap just to share the pleasant feeling. Now imagine letting that person tap on your collarbone, for a little while. Go ahead try it and come back.
How was it. That’s what I would call an advanced mental exercise, jujitsu for the mind, if you will. Great to do any time of the day. But not in the car.
