Tip: 2 Powerful Questions to Ask Yourself

You have a memory or an image in your head which somehow feels uncomfortable.  Create a movie of the worst few seconds of the memory and watch it in your head.  Then tap about the movie and also say something good about yourself.

After getting your uncomfortable feeling down to a 2 or a 3, ask yourself the following questions and get the answers.

  • What still bothers me about this?
  • What words, images, actions or anything else is still clear in my mind about this movie?

You can write down the answers, or not.  Then tap, saying the words you used to answer those questions.

Cycle through the process of asking those questions and tapping again and again until you can get the discomfort down to 0 or 1.
