Do you need to see your doctor? If you are in pain, and your physical symptoms are getting worse or not getting better, please ask yourself if it’s time to take additional steps.
Remember, ultimately you are the one who will have the most to gain by becoming proactive about your symptoms. And you have the most to lose, if your symptoms continue.
I am not a doctor or any kind of professional; just a person who cares about other people. When I was in pain, or when I have symptoms that get worse instead of better, and the tapping, aspirin or exercise aren’t doing the trick, I take responsibility for myself and visit a doctor, to find out what the medical tests show, and hear what he recommends.
A doctor can tell you where you stand from a medical standpoint, and you can make your health decisions based on the additional knowledge of your medical condition.
As a person without a medical background, here are my reasons for seeing a doctor:
- Get baseline numbers for physical factors including height, weight, EKG, blood test results, and bone density. You can often mitigate or resolve issues by making small lifestyle changes, including, diet, exercise and supplements.
- Diagnose and treat bacterial infections. You don’t want to use only tapping, when there are more effective methods of resolving potentially serious infections. Always weigh the risks against the benefits when dealing with your health.
- Screen for serious diseases which are easier to treat when you know about them earlier.
- Gain valuable thought material for EFT tapping. I am perfectly serious. A visit to the doctor will bring out your thoughts, and fears like nothing else, and that may be a part of your journey in your healing process.
I urge you to ask yourself these questions, and tap on thoughts that come to mind as you ask, and think about your answers. Realize that even asking the question, whether your answer is yes or no, is a step toward good health.
